Brian King

I was born on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England, but have spent a big chunk of my life in Canada and Asia (mostly Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.) I have taught linguistics (mostly applied and socio-), Mandarin Chinese, and EFL/ESL etc.

I am interested in applying technology to language learning - principally to Chinese and to endangered/minority languages. I have used Moodle and a few other applications, but this is my first foray into the "social networking" scene. I'm here to explore, discover, learn, teach, and meet others with similar interests.
