Introduction
This is a community space for all who are interested in wikis and how to put these to effective use in education.
In particular, while the wiki tool enables collaboration and synergy, there are still many issues related to its successful implementation, such as the need for:
- WYSIWG editing
- useful features like e.g. discussion pages, printer friendly output, file upload, image links, annotation, RSS-feeds, etc.
- sustenability and scalability
- skilful facilitation of group writing (e.g. "collaborative", "coöperative" or "collective" (Schneider, D. K., Synteta, P., Chakroun, M., Frete, C., Girardin, F. & Morand, S., 2003)
