Hi! We have just installed the latest Elgg version (0.673) in our Intranet and we have found some problems to have it running properly. We have consulted the Elgg documentation, but it does not provide much information about those problems. We would be very pleased if you could help us to solve them.

Here they are:

1) How can we set the default file storage quota for each user to more than the default 10 MB? We know we can do it with each user, one by one, but it is not a good way to do it. We would like to have each user a default quota of 100MB

2) The "Account settings" for each user is different from the one in this site ( http://elgg.net ). We have less options. For example, an important thing for us is to enable each user to set up their default page to their dashboard, blog, etc. We do not have such an option in our installation. It can be done in this community.

3) If we set the default language to Spanish in the config.php, the "Default" language becomes Spanish, and there is no way for any user to select "English" as their language for the inteface. It is also important for us to have such an option (many other languages are accepted).

4) Is there any documentation for the"Some other $CFG variables found in codebase" at config.php (such as $CFG->admin, $CFG->allowobjectembed, and so on).

5) Is there any further documentation besides http://elgg.org/documentation.php and the installation files?

On the other hand, it seems like the Spanish translation have many missing sentences and some of the translated ones do not seem to have the proper sense. Could we help to fix that? If so, how could we do that?

Thank you very much in advance for your help. We look forward to hearning from you. We do like this software very much and we see it as a perfect "rapid social networking" tool. :-)

Have a great installation of Moodle 1.7+ and ELGG 0.672 running at http://moodle.chatham-nj.org/.  However, when I did the recent update of 0.672 to 0.673, and users used the e-Portfolio block in Moodle to create accounts in ELGG, the registration screen (running through LMS) never appeared.  When I reverted back to 0.672, all was well again.

Followed all ELGG upgrade instructions to the letter.  The e-Portfolio block in Moodle has worked for versions 1.6.x and 1.7.x, as well as all the ELGG versions I have tested (0.65x and up) until now.  Or do I sit back and wait for OpenAcademic?

Hi All,

Is there any ELGG Support Forum? I find really difficult to search for answers within ELGG due to the search for tags limitation.

Anyone out there?

 Thanks
