I'm getting a blank screen when attempting a new install of .601.  I have mod_rewrite, etc as required by the install instructions, but cannot get this to work.  Is there someway to turn on error messages or something so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks

 I'd really like to get this working -- the site I'm trying to set it up on is http://www.memebattle.com.  I have gone through the config file extensively and tried several different settings -- all to no avail.

 Please help! 

UPDATE -- I'm at least getting error messages now, so I feel like I've made some progress.  I know this has to do with my path but cannot get anything to work.  My host (Modwest.com) is running php via cgi. 

I have installed Elgg and it seems to be correct.  When I go to the main URL I get the Elgg Start page, but when I attempt to login as news I get the following:

I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

 Elgg is installed on my server at elgg.colemanfamilyweb.com  The root of the subdomain is in public_html/elgg  Any help is greatly appreciated.
