The university is 240 miles away in Chelmsford, but I only have to commute down the stairs to start work. I specialise in the facilitation of online learning communities, and live the life as a member of a team distributed around the UK. Not only do I rarely meet the people in the online communities, but face-to-face meetings with colleagues are infrequent.
