The classrooms were dominated by a single medium (printed textbooks) when I was a student. The lecturers used to write on a blackboard with white chalk and the students were rushing to copy what was presented in their log books. This style might be boring today when there are various digital media resources which are flexible, versatile, transformable, networked. In my opinion we have learnt quite a lot when we were subjected to this teaching style. There is the other side of the coin – the students found only one person’s view (lecturer) about the presented information. However I would like to find out other people’s views in the case they have been attending similar classes when they were students. In my opinion interactivity represents communication between human beings and / or surrounding world. We interact with other humans, nature, technology, space, time, objects, etc. I am enthusiastic and positive about the enhancement of education by using multimedia resources and a great supporter of blended learning including face-to-face meetings.

Better late than never! Finally arrived on Eduspace - Family photo of a few years ago. After a busy time at work, I've now resolved to participate and become a blogger. Look forward to reading comments. Sue

Hello to one and all.... Decided to re-visit Eduspace and think it has a real postive feel to the concept. At this point wasn't really sure what comments should be written to start the ball rolling, but as I am a pragmatic learner, I'll just make it brief and see what happens... I've enjoyed reading the postings and hope we will enjoy this part of the course. Happy Day to you all. Moira X
