Private messaging

Thanks to a plugin developed by Diego Andres - elgg.net now has private messaging. You can send messages to your friends or to anyone in a community which you are a member.

Select 'Your messages' from the toolbar at the top.

  1. I'm a little confused... my comments on my blog are showing up in the messages. If I send one from there, is it private or does it get added to a blog comment?

     Also, What are 'Presentations' - how do I use this tool?

     "What are 'Presentations' - how do I use this tool?" - the best way is just get in a try it out. Essentially, it lets you build up presentations based on your content from the site and present this to people.

  3. Thanks, can you post a link to someone who is using their Presentations page well- I am a self professed digital immigrant who is also a very visual learner- "show me the way oh wise ones..."
