Simplicity - when it comes to Elgg editor...

I'm wondering if the plan is to add a more up to date version of an editor here in Elgg; I miss the spell control, the easy way to format text, add HTML links etc

But one cannot get everything, and sometimes we're really spoiled by the Open Soirce developers catering for us!

  1. This is definitely on the cards. We do realise that it is not easy for those who have no HTML skills to do all they would like. Therefore, we are planning to install an HTML editor. We will try to get this in place for the next major release (after the one tomorrow).

  2. With the next release of Elgg you will be able to use a tool like w.bloggar. That should make editing and maintaining your blog a little bit easier.
