Day 1. 11 learners start the project in the Carpentry and Joinery Workshop at Tshwane North College: Mamelodi Campus. After planning

and creating a timeline

we started the floor.

Day 2. We board the floor with MDF and floor boards.

 Day 3. We finish the floor.

Timber studs are ready

Day 4. We fix the timber frames and start putting down the metal track to create rooms and start putting in the metal studs.

We plumb the corners and put in the rest of the metal studs.

We start the boarding.

Day 5: Boarding.

We also start the ceiling joists.

Bring on the frames.

Day 6. We install a metal frame. (Bowing is caused by the camera.)

Use the plumb rule and prepare an opening for a timber lining.

Pop rivet a stud.

Fix corner beads.

Day 7. We finish the openings and then we apply fibre tape to the walls.
