Without too much ceremony, Elgg 1.1 has been pushed out of the door and sent into the wide world.

Elgg 1.1 contains numerous changes both visible and invisible. Major bugs have been squished, speed drastically increased, improved theme support, security enhancements, improved installer.... the list goes on!
