I've decided I need to start exploring both blogging and Elgg. It feels a bit strange, because my normal pattern for writing is to work privately and edit and re-edit before finally letting anybody else see it. It's different with e-mails, of course, but those are generally only aimed at a small target audience, whereas this feels very public - even if I know that virtually no one will actually read it!
Anyway, that's the experiment begun!
