I'm the Director of the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. We have responsibility for a wide range of areas including Learning Technologies. Currently we are supporting our institutional VLE (Blackboard), videostreaming, podcasting, digital repositories, computer aided assessment, digital language laboratories, etc. One of our central aims is to create and nurture various "communities of practice" across the institution and beyond.
