I've updated folio to work with Elgg v.8, as there was a problem with updating file properties.  The file, as always, is in my files.

  1. Hi Nathan,

    I installed your folio plugin yesterday and have a lot of rerror messages with the "Recent Activity". I am using the actual elgg version.  And the history does not show the name of the author.

  2. Sorry, but I'll need some more concrete error messages to troubleshoot problems you're having.  Are you using php 5 & a recent version of mysql?  Did you run the setupdb.php file?   Did you have elgg & folio installed before on your server?

  3. Nathen, thanks for the folio app, I can see alot of work went into it.

    R U integrating joiner with folio ? Cause I'll wait on that if it's coming soon

  4. No, I"ll probably leave joiner separate, as putting them together doesn't really add anything.  I'll be releasing a new version of folio around Christmas, but it'll be a major update as I'm adding portfolio capabilities.

  5. Nathan,

    Your folio plugin is a major pull for my Science faculty. I'm demoing it tomorrow with Elgg 0.8. I'm intruiged to see what portfolio capabilites you decide to employ. One thing I'd like to see though is a Folio widget so that one can have a Folio tree display in the profile of a community.

    Great work boyo :-)

  6. Mark;

    I'm glad that you find the folio plug-in useful.  The widget is a good idea, I'm going to probably include something like with the next release (around new years).
