About
Federica is Senior Learning Technologist supporting staff and students in their use of technologies for learning and teaching and designing distance online learning courses. She has led the conception and development of the University’s Blackboard PDP system and its use of ePortfolios and recently steered the implementation and evaluation of the Connect system which provides new and continuing students with online informal learning spaces through an innovative social networking site. She has undertaken research projects into e-assessment and use of web 2.0 tools in teaching and learning, evaluated and presented a number of case studies concerning the effective use of technology enhanced learning at several international conferences. She is also a University's Learning and Teaching Fellow.
