How the Spectrum began a revolution Well, I’m of an age to be able to say “My first computer was a ZX81″ The spectrum was my second. I now have a CD that has lots of Speccy games & an emulator on. I can start to rescue Bilbo again!

  1. I remember it well, I'm of an age that I can remember writing programs for these and the TRS80, I didn't acually own these just wrote for them.  My first was the Vic20 with a whole 1k of useable memory, but it had a real keyboard. (I used the excuse that it was for my daughter).  I can remember spending hours writing new algorythms to use as little memory as possible.
