Space for issues related to educational designer role and identity. What is educational design, exactly? Is it possible to give a precise definition? How should we go about representing educational design to other people with whom we deal? How do we deal with the fuzzy overlapping boundaries with neighbouring occupational groups, instructional designers, multimedia developers, teachers etc. How do you tell the difference between real educational design and stuff that merely goes through the motions?
