About
I grew up during the 1950s and ’60s in a three stoplight mill town in western North Carolina.david_reaching.jpg I did not enjoy education but I enjoyed learning, being in class, listening to teachers talk to us about our world, and participating in discussions (in our continuing efforts to get the teacher off the subject). I had some outstanding teachers, who loved their work, and who were magnificent lenses for us on the world that we lived in. I decided early on, that this was what I wanted to do.
Mimicing Digital StudentsTeaching, learning, and the classroom have all changed. The world is a different place, and our technologies have advanced at a rate that would have been unbelievable to me when I was growing up.
