What am I missing?

Thanks to Ben for his response to my last query regarding access settings for folders. I'm not sure what I'm missing, so I've included a screencapture from my space here at Elgg.net.

As pictured, I have the option to "edit" the files that appear in this screencapture, but don't have the option, it seems, to make edits to the "access level" for the folders pictured. "Delete" seems to be my only option. What am I missing? Again, thanks in advance....

Is it possible for a "non administrator" to change the "access settings" on a folder in an Elgg installation. For instance can I, once again as a "non-administrator" change the permissions on a folder from "private" to "public"? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer....

Here's a vlog post I made by converting an AVI file to MOV with Camtasia Studio and then SnagIt to take a screen cap for the graphic that serves as a link to the video file. I've uploaded both to my elgg space and then simply linked to the files with HTML. I've taken the liberty of using this technique to post New Year wishes on my "original" blog at http://learningdiary.blogspot.com

I see that the embedded player doesn't work for OGG, but the link loads nearly immediately and plays in Windows Media Player on my XP machine (now that I've downloaded/installed the required codecs/filters).

NOTE: the apparent difference in the playback settings between this version (the embedded player seems to have the playback on ffwd and sounds like the "chipmunks") and the previous version (which is a tad slow...). Some have reported differing playback experiences during successive downloads of the "original" post on Mac machines. Be interested to hear the experiences of others in terms of playback characteristics with different file types.

Thanks to Terry Wassell for the pointer to Ben's prescription for embedding the 'cast player directly into a post.
