I found myself thinking earlier today: why have a blog? Who is it for? Am I writing for myself, or for an audience, and an educated and aware audience, at that. Should I stick to matters of interest to education, should I chat about my latest musical obsession?
Well, I have my multimedia dev community for tech talk, so I think I'll stick to more personal stuff here.
I discovered a new band yesterday, Probot. Made up of ex-members of Nirvana and Foo Fighters. The cool thing about the album is that each song has a different singer- and each one is a star in the metal/punk scene. So its almost a compilation, except that all the songs are written by one person and the main musicians don't change. So, its more of a musical project than a band, kinda like Jakalope.
