Hello from Mr. Truss
First of all it is wonderful to be teaching for the Renaissance Fair again. This is one of my favorite things that I teach all year!
I am very excited to see what students will come up with this year for their Renaissance Projects. Over the years I have seen many brilliant ideas, and some fabulous models created. I have also seen some really neat multi-media presentations. As always, I am interested in seeing how students will choose to demonstrate their learning this year.
I have two simple pieces of advice for you as you start your 10-class journey into the world of Da Vinci...
1. Find something you are really interested in studying and this will be a memorable and rewarding experience!
2. Remember that a detailed model or a really nice display is not enough to make a great project. You need to explain what you did, and/or present what you have learned!
