In spring 2007 I attended the Beyond Broadcast conference at the Massachusetts Institute of Technolog where I had the pleasure of listening to a man named Henry Jenkins whose had a profound effect upon digital culture today but most importantly, reflect various ways in which democracy has manifested itself into the world.
