About
I am an Instructional Development Consultant at the Centre for Teaching and Learning of the Université de Montréal (CEFES). I am primarily engaged in assisting professors and lecturers improve their teaching skills and approaches. I also work with departments and faculties on various exciting pedagogical projects. I collaborate with other Centre members on developing online teaching resources.
I have worked in the field of education for over 25 years and have conducted numerous workshops on teaching and on assessment in the Canadian school systems and in Higher Education. I have taught at the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa and at the Université de Montréal. My area of specialization is assessment that supports student learning and fosters a deep approach to learning. My current interest lies in the use of portfolios as a learning and assessment tool in Higher Education.
Another area of interest of mine is the study of the cultural implications implementing professional development activities at an international level.
