Chuck Hamilton is the Manager Learning Strategy at IBM Canada’s Innovation Center in Vancouver and an a member of CAL (IBM’s Centre for Advanced Learning)
Chuck’s career spans 20 years, in IT consulting and management and he is looked to as one of Canada’s thought leaders in the blend of learning and technology. Well known within innovation circles, Chuck supports and leads a number of internal and external efforts in support of the advancement of learning, social networks and human capital development. This blend of learning and technology expertise crosses every industry and applies to a vast array of technologies. Chuck is one the first employees of IBM's Vancouver based innovation team (which is now nearly 400 people) and he understands the issues associated with growing and sustaining business here in BC.
Chuck speaks at approximately 15 conferences a year promoting the role of IBM in learning and technology and has published several papers on eLearning trends and direction. When he is not traveling around the world he spends his time in Vancouver playing traditional Irish music in his Celtic band. www.stoneandsea.ca
