Well, I finally got round to uploading my image. So this is what I look like. The cute little pussy cat on my shoulder is Frank, the next door neighbour's cat. Him and his sister Lilly come over the wall to play with my two cats, Mungo and Morag from time to time.

I am a PhD student investigating the use of storytelling as a reflective tool in higher education. I stumbled across elgg when looking at what was going on in the Internet with blogging. As I am interested in narrative it's interesting to see how everyone is using elgg and blogs in general. I'm using a storytelling framework for discussions about assessment in my PhD (http://www.storiesabout.com). I'm also looking at students' visual representations of their experiences of assessment.
