Leaving it all behind

Ever gone on holiday and dreamt of starting a new life there? Many of us day dream like this but few of us act out the urge. The latest Absolutely Intercultural show examines just this feeling. From the 23 year old student who has already spent extended periods in Australia and South Africa to the heavy metal fan who became involved in opera in Thailand and rounding off with the jaded teacher who took a year's sabbatical which included a 3 month motorcycle trip across the USA. Just got back to Paris where I teach, after a holiday in the Languedoc region of France. I really like the area, some of my wife's family have retired there. Can I act out the urge to make the change and go there? A key question indeed. I am catching up on the couple of Absolutley Interculturals that I missed. I like the show enormously.

Even giving some serious thought to acting out the urge may be of benefit and reflect something useful back about your present circumstances. But (and here I'm just guessing) haven't you already upped sticks in a major way once? Thanks for the compliments. We aim to please and are always pleased to hear from listeners.

Yep, you're right there. In fact we've even moved away from Paris once and come back again.

If you click on the Eduspaces logo at the top of this page or just go to http://eduspaces.net then underneath the login dialogue box in very tiny letters you will see 'register'. This is just a question of choosing a username and password and giving your email address. I like eduspaces a lot although I have a few niggles such as adding pictures seems difficult.
